Store manager of Chinese Walmart outlet dies from fatal stab wound after confronting shoplifter

PictureSource: Sina WeiboZhanjiang City, China – Lin Hsing, manager of a Walmart supermarket outlet in China’s Guangdong province, was murdered after she tried to stop a man from stealing on June 11.
According to local authorities, she confronted a man she suspected of stealing some groceries, who then attacked her with a knife after the confrontation, slitting her throat.

While trying to flea the scene, the man grabbed a knife from a store shelf and slit the store manager’s throat.

By the time emergency services had arrived on scene, she had already bled to death and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The the 29-year-old man who committed the heinous crime was taken to the ground and detained by store customers preventing him from leaving the scene before police could arrive.

Zhanjiang police arrested the male suspect who had maintained possession of the knife used in the murder.

Lin, who died at the scene, was a mother of one and soon-to-be newlywed.
